Ultimate Integrated Mobility Solutions

© ULTIMOB

In view of the climate crisis, the Austrian mobility system faces complex challenges: Increasing traffic, urban sprawl and consumer-oriented lifestyles are causing more and more climate-relevant gases. Further, there are numerous barriers that stand in the way of the implementation of innovative sustainable mobility offers. A radical rethink is therefore required in many areas. ULTIMOB is concerned with advancing the turnaround in mobility, creating necessary new mobility offers and combining them with existing solutions in a meaningful way.

Within the project, (1) mobility solutions with a high innovative content that have been lacking up to now will be implemented in four pilot regions in a bottom-up approach, accompanied by a large-scale visible dissemination via a comprehensive follower process, (2) a practice-relevant toolset for overcoming implementation barriers in the area of conflict between technology, user behaviour and governance will be developed, and (3) a significant contribution will be made in the field of “MaaS” in the sense of a social added value.

“We are pleased to contribute to the mobility transition with the ULTIMOB project through pilot implementations and overcoming innovation barriers for sustainable mobility solutions. Within the cooperation with the aspern.mobil LAB, we would like to integrate the comprehensive knowledge of the aspern.mobil LAB.” – project lead ULTIMOB

Planned cooperation with the aspern.mobil LAB

The planned cooperation includes the provision of know-how, methodological reflection with regard to co-creation and stakeholder involvement as well as participation in workshops during the conception and dissemination phase.
