SmartHubs research project | Workshop 2: Where is the mobility station of the future?

European research project on the planning of mobility stations

As part of the European research project “SmartHubs”, various tools are being developed for better planning of mobility stations.

Also in aspern Seestadt, different types of mobility stations / mobility hubs (at public transport junctions on public land, in parking garages, various networks of shared mobility offers, …) represent important building blocks in the overall mobility concept – for example the stations of the Seestadtflotte or the WienMobil station in Maria-Tusch-Straße.

Workshop series

In a two-part workshop series titled “Where is the mobility hub of the future?” on site at aspern.mobil LAB (Sonnenallee 35, 1220 Vienna) as well as online, we want to address the question of what advantages and disadvantages these different types of mobility hub concepts have for different user groups and stakeholders and to make criteria / demands that are more and less important to you transparent.

Help us to cover as many perspectives on this topic as possible! As a thank you for your successful participation in both workshops, you will receive a voucher worth 40 €.
