sensokit
Sensokit is a modular set of environmental sensors that is primarily used by 10-14-year-old students to measure environmental data. The set consists of a main module and a series of sensors that can be connected to the main module via a cable connection. The main module queries the sensor data, collects the current GPS position, and sends the available data to the DATAhub via NB-IoT technology at a predefined interval. Individual measured values are only ever collected when the respective sensor module is connected to the main module. The components of the sensokit are installed in housings and objects individually designed by the user. The measured values collected must therefore always be assessed in the context of use and can be influenced by factors such as location, orientation, direct sunlight, etc.
The sensokit includes 4 sensors for measuring different environmental data:
- Volume sensor: Measures the noise level of the environment
- Gas sensor: Measures different gases and provides AQI and TVOC values.
- CO2, temperature, and humidity sensor
- Ozone sensor
